Denver pickup versus delivery
A side-by-side decision table for first-time renters.
Delivery or drive
A stationary rental and a collected vehicle solve different trips. Compare the jobs, permissions and transport each leaves with you.
Outdoorsy describes pickup or host delivery with a key exchange and walkthrough. RVshare says delivery and setup charges vary by owner and distance and advises settling location and timing before booking. An available delivery option does not establish campground permission.
For delivery, seek agreement from the owner and campground, then check whether a permit or approved operator is required. For collection, focus on handover time, your driving plan, the overnight reservation and the return conditions.
Rocky Mountain National Park requires authorized commercial RV delivery/setup, with conditions for the operator, trailer and reserved site. Confirm the operator’s park authorization as well as the rental agreement.
For Chatfield, Cherry Creek and State Forest, ask the park about the specific rental delivery before booking. Get the proposed site, operator, setup and collection windows agreed together.
